Our Mission:
Our mission is to provide a level of training to our players that ensures the highest level of social and athletic development and growth.
Playing the game professionally, having self-respect, and respecting others are the core values that this program was built upon. Being a Firecracker means you understand that you are beautiful, certain of yourself, and very capable of playing this game. Most importantly, you are striving to make the decisions that will provide you happiness for the rest of your life.
We are an Anchorage Alaska based fastpitch softball club that is part of the national firecrackers fastpitch softball club found at https://firecrackersoftball.com/
All of our Coaches are teaching the same fielding, throwing, hitting and other techniques developed and taught by the Firecrackers in Southern California. This ensures our girls are given the opportunity to learn a proven system used all over the US.
Coaches, parents, and players all have free access to our Firecrackers On Demand video library of 100's of hours of teaching content. All teachings are standardized across all teams.
Firecrackers has placed girls in college with over 100 million in scholarships so far. Check out the commits page for these awesome athletes!

AK Firecrackers currently has one 18u Fastpitch Travel team made up of girls from all over Anchorage. This team will travel 3-4 times a year to the lower 48 to be seen be college softball coaches. Full schedule can be found here.

Club Fees
We collect a $300 registration fee per player due soon after a player is placed on a team. This covers insurance, jerseys, helmets etc.
We also have a monthly player fee of $125 that is billed out on the first of the month and due by the 15th of the month. That totals $1500 per season. This goes towards Dome Rentals, The Yard, ASD Schools, Nets, softballs, equipment, local games, local tournaments, field rentals etc etc.
Travel is a separate cost. Each team generally travels at least one time a year. Coaches will meet with selected teams and parents and discuss travel options shortly after tryouts. Travel trips generally range from $750-1500 depending on the tournament.
Fundraising is available year round to offset most if not all of the fees.
